Kaylee Blesy was born in Buffalo, New York, and currently resides in Alfred New York. She is completing a BFA from Alfred University, where she received the Art Portfolio and Miller Portfolio Scholarships. Kaylee’s research centers on an exploration of the female experience and presentation in contemporary culture through humor, pop surrealism and imagery of the figure and food. While her focus is ceramics, she has also discovered a love for painting while attending Alfred University. Her work has been included in various shows at the Turner Gallery, Albright Knox's Teen's Exhibition, University at Buffalo, and Daemen College. She is also a musician and finds much of her inspiration from music and playing live with her band.
